چکیده

The aim of this research is to evaluate and analyze the influence different degrees salt stress on tolerance Australian wheat lines having characteristics derived from wild types in comparison with a local cultivar well–adapted Anatolian conditions under controlled conditions. In research, two lines, namely AU5924 AU5907, adapted harbor HKT1;4 HKT1;5 loci Bayraktar 2000 used as genetic material. our study, trial plan four replicates treatment doses (0 mM control group 200 group) was designed. samples were collected for elemental analysis, measuring physiological parameters well determining proline content after appearance symptoms. respect, (K), known play an important role enhancing tolerance, found be higher HKT–containing 2000. HKT genes could improve production varieties. While dry weight genotype than checked, line 5907 lower potassium (K/Na) ratio decreased. These effectively increased stress. However, demonstrated best among all analyzed genotypes.

Intervarietal Differences in Nitrogen Content and Nitrate Assimilation in Wheat (triticum Aestivum L.) under Salt Stress

Effect of five NaCl salinity treatments (0, 50, 100, 200 and 300 mM) given at different growth and developmental stages on total N level and in vitro nitrate reductase activity (NRA) in leaves and roots of two wheat cultivars viz., Ghods and Boolani was studied in greenhouse conditions. In response to salinity treatments, total N concentrations and NO3 assimilation rates in Ghods, a saltsensiti...

Characterization of a common wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) TaSnRK2.7 gene involved in abiotic stress responses

Sucrose non-fermenting-1-related protein kinase 2 (SnRK2) plays a key role in the plant stress signalling transduction pathway via phosphorylation. Here, a SnRK2 member of common wheat, TaSnRK2.7, was cloned and characterized. Southern blot analysis suggested that the common wheat genome contains three copies of TaSnRK2.7. Subcellular localization showed the presence of TaSnRK2.7 in the cell me...

Differential Physiological Responses of Portuguese Bread Wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) Genotypes under Aluminium Stress

The major limitation of cereal production in acidic soils is aluminium (Al) phytotoxicity which inhibits root growth. Recent evidence indicates that different genotypes within the same species have evolved different mechanisms to cope with this stress. With these facts in mind, root responses of two highly Al tolerant Portuguese bread wheat genotypes—Barbela 7/72/92 and Viloso mole—were investi...

Vernalisation Response of Some Winter Wheat Cultivars (Triticum aestivum L.)

For 17 cultivars of winter wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) different vernalisation and photoperiod responses were detected. The effect of photoperiod sensitivity was not significantly changed by vernalisation; different vernalisation responses were probably due to the presence of multiple alleles at Vrn loci. The delay in heading depended on the vernalisation deficit exponentially: y = parameter (...
